Custom Orders
Almost everything in the shop can be made to fit you. Because I work in small batches rather than one-off pieces, I can repeat a form, change its glaze, or scale a shape up into a full set — and the result will still look like it belongs with the rest of my work.
What you can choose
Glaze. Any glaze from any collection can go on any form. If you like the shape of a mug in one collection and the color from another, we can make this combination for you.
Clay. I work with various stoneware and porcelain. The clay might change how a glaze looks like: the same glaze can be brighter on a pale clay and warmer on a darker one. Tell me which you prefer, or tell me the effect you want and I'll suggest the match.
Size and details. Taller or shorter, wider or narrower, handle or no handle, expected volume. A form can be adjusted, within reason, of course.
Quantity. A single present, a pair, or a set for six.
Sets
A dinner set in matching glaze, four mugs, a coffee set. Let me know how many people you're setting the table for and I'll propose a combination.
Gifts
Weddings, housewarmings, birthdays. I can wrap the piece and include a handwritten note, and if you're not sure what to choose I'm happy to think it through with you.
How it works
- Write to me with what you have in mind — a link to a shape, a glaze you liked, a photo, or just a description.
- We agree on the details together: form, glaze, clay, quantity, timing.
- I confirm the price and a lead time, and take a 50% deposit.
- Your pieces are made, fired and shipped via DHL. I'll send you a photo before they go.
Good to know
Handmade ceramics take time. A custom order usually needs 3-6 weeks, since pieces have to be made, dried, bisque fired, glazed and fired again, and each firing waits for a full kiln. Around holidays, book earlier.
Glazes can vary slightly between firings — that variation is part of the material, not a flaw, and it means your set will be close but never identical, always unique.
Entirely new forms I haven't made before are harder to promise. Ask anyway, and I'll tell you honestly whether it's something I can do.
